ReplyDeleteOn the island of Eigg I think life is beautiful because it is far from everything and everyone, without pollution, traffic. It is the perfect place to relax, it would be nice to have a second home and spend a few weeks during the summer to get away from it all.

ReplyDeleteOn the bright side of Eigg Island, which is surrounded by mountains, unspoiled nature and clean air, thanks to the exploitation of hydropower, wind turbines with the force of the wind and the heat of the sun, the inhabitants guarantee heating and therefore do not use energy. Each family and company has 5 kw of electricity available to satisfy the daily energy need. Each user pays exactly the same amount of energy, but at the same time, they also have the opportunity to use it in the same way as the others. But not only that, the other upside is that the costs are very low compared to what would have been imposed by national utilities on land.

ReplyDeletePersonally I would live on the island of Eigg because it has many more advantages than a normal city starting from the fact that it is surrounded by nature, it is not polluted and there is no traffic and the costs for living are lower than in any territory. very nice is that each person has the same daily energy (5 kilowatts) and each one manages it as he wishes and according to his needs. It is also very beautiful because it is isolated and it is a place to relax and not think about work or things to do. And the last aspect that strikes me is that it uses only renewable energy. In my opinion it would be perfect to go there in the summer or when you need to disconnect from the monotonous everyday life. but a negative aspect of this island is that you cannot easily move to go elsewhere and you can only move through boats

ReplyDeleteI honestly don’t know if I would go to live in Eigg, I would certainly go to visit it because I am a lover of nature and there is a lot of them, it is a beautiful island where seals, dolphins, whales and a large number of bird species are observed. Eigg offers different acctivities such as long walks, cycling, kayaking or boating and offers different lands such as coastal, agricultural, swamps, and woods: you can find everything in one island!
Not to mention the energies used on the island that come from clean renewable sources: from water, sun and wind.
But even if the island seems fantastic, I have other plans for the future and I think of everything except “stopping”, indeed quite the opposite. Then who knows what my destiny will be!

ReplyDeleteI would not go to live on Eigg Island, because in my opinion it is far from the technological point of view. Obviously, however, I would go to visit it. I if I went on vacation I would enjoy the show that the island offers and I would relax. In my opinion, you can have fun on the island even without the use of technology, which is now everywhere. On the island there can only be positive aspects, such as renewable energy, water, trees and animals. In addition, on the island you can do many activities that in our country cannot be done, despite this, for the moment I prefer to live in my little village, Villar Perosa!!

Personally I would like to go and live there as it seems a fantastic place but now I am very well in my village.

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't go live on Eigg Island because I prefer the company of my friends and social life. In Eigg I 'd go only for little time to see the beautiful landscape and sea , for me the island is perfect to do a holiday with your friend to stay in peaceful and quite place
