I think they should apply this method in other schools as well, because it's an alternative way of teaching, and I think it's much more attractive to students.
In this way, in my opinion,we avoid so many situations that could happen if these experiments were actually done.

ReplyDeleteI watched this video with great pleasure: Michael was very precise in explaining the kind of idea he was thinking, without hesitation, and immediately put his thought of creating a virtual lab into practice.
In my opinion this is definitely a faster and safer method but some people still want to study in the traditional way, without an online lab so it is wrong to give students only one way to learn and give more possibilities. It may be advisable to do some tests before choosing a single study method, and then choose the right method according to your needs.

ReplyDeleteIt was very interesting to watch this video about virtual reality. Michael Bodekaer explains the way he wants to use virtual reality to revolutionize the way we teach in schools, and I think what he’s doing with virtual reality is really genius.
I really liked this video and I think that in teaching with virtual reality, there would be a number of advantages more than traditional teaching, for example ,you would spend less money on books and school accessories, The experiments could be done in a short time without putting anyone at risk and there would be a greater interest in the students, who would be attracted by this new technology and would like to try it.
I hope that in a few years this way of teaching will also arrive in Italy, because I think it is a brilliant method to make students pay attention and at the same time make them learn how science works.

I think the way in which Michael Bodekaer explained his idea of laboratories and virtual reality is very interesting, I think that in schools this virtual reality would be much better, both for school materials such as books would save a lot more paper and money;
in addition I think that the students would be much more attentive and would attract them more lessons like this, in an alternative way from the traditional one without getting bored.

I think that in every school there should be this kind of teaching because you would get better results from the students.
With a virtual reality the students would have more way to take an interest in what they are doing because they would also experience things.
Besides it would also be an advantage on the waste of paper and money, you should not spend too much to buy books.
I would like this method sooner or later to arrive in Italy to be able to experience virtual reality.

ReplyDeleteI finished watching the video on TED.com and Michael’s ideas really impressed me and at the same time I really liked them. I think that introducing virtual reality in science labs in all schools can be a great idea for many reasons, one of the main ones is that students might like it a lot because with this new technology they feel more encouraged to follow the lessons. Maybe the main problem is the cost that could be very high, but if you have the funds I think it is a perfect idea to improve the lessons.

In addition, the invention of virtual reality has not only positively altered the lives of students, but also that of people in general, and science. I think it’s fantastic to experiment with scientific theories that could be dangerous if tried in real life.

The video was very interesting, and I think that to add Virtual Reality games based on the subjects could be very cool to student and the most important thing is that the VR can obviously involve more the students and it prevents students to getting distracted.

In my opinion, the use of virtual reality to teach in schools could prove to be even more useful than the current method; it would arouse more interest in students and they could also save a lot on school costs (books, notebooks, etc.).
Furthermore, virtual reality can also be very important in other contexts outside of school.
I fully hope that this virtual method will soon be adopted in our schools.

In my opinion Michael Bodekaer has invented a very innovative way to see school in general, I think that future studemts will be more into school with all these new types of technologies that Michael would like to introduce.

I think that thanks to technology there will be new and great discoveries in the scientific field. and i think in the school field there will be an evolution and students will learn much faster and learn things in a more fun way. I think his vision of teaching is very futuristic for the italian schools but in a few years we could try to experiment this ways of learning and we could see the results. Surely the students will be much more interested at lessons so they could learn easily the science concepts.

ReplyDeleteI watched the video and it's very interesting because Michael says true things that could help the learning of all students.
I discovered these new technologies for the learning that have many advantages like don’t spending too much money for the science instruments e for the different laboratory or do the experiment without danger because it’s all online.
Then I understood that these technologies with the teaching of teachers increase student learning by more than 100% and so this is very important for our future because thanks to all of this, the students will first become scientists with a lot of learning and as Michael says the future world is in their hands.

First, I think that Michael's teaching is wonderfull because with this innovations there are lot of positive things. For example, students will learning better with new technologies because they can do more experiments and above all can see better their reactions. He managed to combine technology with school topics, capturing all the students' attention.
I wasn't surprised when I saw that students' test grades had increased a lot because this method is really great as well as safer (for experiments).

ReplyDeleteAfter watching the video, I realized how much technology has developed in recent years.
It has come to the point that robots will do things for us or that all our actions in a laboratory will be simulated.
this thing has positive but also negative sides.
Positive because it makes things much easier and affordable for everyone: for example schools that do not have the space to put a laboratory, you could have a simulator that would take up little space.
The downside is that you would lose the manual ability to do things because everything would be simulated.

Moreover, with this method I think that learning in school subjects could be better, so that in schools we could increase the use of technology, avoiding as much as possible the use of books with a considerable saving for families.

In many of the subjects we students are bored but I think that with the life simulator hardly anyone would be bored.

Michael in this video explains the new teaching method, virtual reality. This method has many advantages for example schools have to spend less money on scientific instruments and experiments which would not be dangerous. With this method, students are more stimulated to learn and have better results.

I think studying or taking lessons with this new method is much better for students because it is possible to experience a lot more things and in a safe way, and it is also much less boring than studying on a book.
