Technology of the future on show
1) Watch the video below.
2) Learn some language related to technology. Memorise the following words:
- robot – machine that can work by itself and perform jobs that humans do
- artificial intelligence – computer technology that makes machines behave like humans (also called AI)
- driverless cars – cars that do not need a human to drive them
- autonomous cab – taxi that does not need a human to drive it
3) Go to www.bbc.co.uk/lingohack to find the transcript. Read the transcript, watch the video again and repeat each phase trying to imitate the right pronunciation and correct intonation. Look any unfamiliar words up on a dictionary.
